Episode #248 of Here's What We Know
This week on Here's What We Know, I finally got to sit down with Nashville hitmaker Trannie Anderson, co-writer of Lainey Wilson's award-winning "Heart Like a Truck" and "Wildflowers and Wild Horses."
After countless reschedules (yes, we made it happen!), the wait was more than worth it. Trannie's stories are packed with humor, heart, and inspiration. She opened up about how her Texas roots and church upbringing shaped her love of music, why authenticity fuels her songwriting, and how co-writing can turn sparks of ideas into pure magic.
We also talked about what it's like to watch friends rise from small-town beginnings to superstardom and the lessons she's learned along the way.
With songs already recorded by Meghan Trainor, Pentatonix, and Reba McEntire, Trannie's journey is only getting started.
